So it's been over 6 weeks since our last get together, Christmas and holidays are now over and it's time to get back into the swing of things.
Karen invited me to attend a team training day with her Kaszazz family, with the opportunity to attend a masterclass and enter a creative challenge competition.
I thought it would be fun to try my hand at a challenge, so armed with my required products (the Kaszazz Friends or Princess bling, seam binding and only other Kaszazz products and stamps). Ok, I thought, I can do this, I'll just make a pack of cards in a box, easy right? But you know me I've gotta go to the next level, so I decided to do some creative cutting with the lovely Kaszazz shield die, some stamping, colouring, flowers and even more bling. So I borrowed some stamps and the shield die from Karen and set to. I was pretty pleased with the final result. So here they are.

Here's the box front and back made with the Friends bling, some cut up flowers to make a dragonfly, papers from the lovely Funky Forest Basics pack and stamp from the Hummingbird set and of course the seam binding coloured with distress inks.
These cards were made with the shield die used to cut the front panel of the card. flowers were coloured with distress inks and cut to fit behind the sentiments.
These ones are I think my favourite cards. Is it because they have dragonflies on them? You betcha.
Here are a couple of simple cards with stamping and colouring.
I really enjoyed working on the challenge and guess what, I won second prize, Yay got one of the terrific new Kaszazz stamps as my prize. Thanks for the invite Karen and congatulations on winning first prize in the challenge!!!
The masterclass was interesting as I'd never done a configuration box before, so here's my finished product from the workshop. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and dare I say I was the only one who finished it in the time allowed ;-) How did yours go Karen and Jill? Need to see some pics of the finished product girls!

Can't wait to catch up with everyone in February and see what you've all been up to over the break.
